Cities we serve in Marion County

Each local page sticks to what is true on those streets: how old the houses are, the creeks and main roads, and the pests that come up most. The historic districts, from Woodruff Place and Cottage Home to Lockerbie Square and the Old Northside, mean old foundations, basements and mice. Beech Grove, a city with its own mayor inside Marion County, leans toward bungalows and small ranches.

Across the county line, the housing gets newer. New Palestine and McCordsville in Hancock County and Fishers and Carmel in Hamilton County are mostly subdivisions on former farm ground, where field mice, ants and mosquitoes lead. Greenwood sits just south in Johnson County. If your street isn't listed, the ZIP checker answers in seconds.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Cumberland in Marion County or Hancock County?

Both. The town straddles the county line along US 40 (Washington Street) beside I-70, roughly half in each. Service and pricing are identical on either side, and the Cumberland page covers its National Road history and housing.

Do you really go as far as Carmel and Fishers?

Yes. Fishers is about 22 km from Irvington and Carmel about 24 km, close to the outer edge of the 25 km service radius. Both are in Hamilton County. Places farther north are outside the radius, so call if you're near the line.

Are Lawrence, Beech Grove and Speedway part of Indianapolis?

They sit inside Marion County but kept their own city or town governments when Unigov took effect in 1970, and Southport did the same. All four are covered, each with its own page, starting with Lawrence near Fort Harrison State Park.

Which covered areas have the oldest houses?

Lockerbie Square, billed as the city's oldest surviving neighborhood, Woodruff Place (platted in 1872), Cottage Home's 1870s–1890s worker cottages, Irvington, Fountain Square, the Old Northside and Herron-Morton Place. Expect basements, old brick or stone foundations and attics, with the mice and carpenter ants that come with them.
